House Republican Policy Committee & the American Principles Project host ‘Meet the Experts’ event featuring Rep. Sheri Biggs
The House Republican Policy Committee (RPC) continued their ‘Meet the Experts’ series with an event hosted by the American Principles Project (APP), featuring featuring Rep. Sheri Biggs (R-SC), APP President Terry Schilling, APP Senior Fellow and former college athlete Paula Scanlan, and RPC Chairman Kevin Hern for a discussion on protecting women and girls in sports.
House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Kevin Hern (OK-01) said, “I am honored to work with my colleagues in the House Republican Policy Committee to highlight important issues facing the United States of America. Congresswoman Biggs has been on the frontline fighting to restore commonsense in public policy and fighting for the safety of women and girls in sports across America.”
“I’m grateful to Chairman Hern and the American Principles Project for leading this important conversation,” said Congresswoman Sheri Biggs (SC-03). “As a mom, a legislator, and someone who still serves in uniform, I believe protecting women’s sports is about fairness, safety, and truth. I see firsthand how hard young girls are working in my community – showing up early, staying late, and giving it their all. We owe it to them to defend the integrity of their competition. Every girl deserves a level playing field.”
“It was an honor to join the Republican Policy Committee to discuss the importance of protecting women’s sports,” said Terry Schilling, President of American Principles Project. “We are working hard to ensure that common sense is restored across the country and with the leadership of those like Congressman Hern and Congresswoman Biggs, I’m confident we’ll get this done.”
