President Obama's Budget Proposal: Tax more, spend more, more of the same

WASHINGTONâ€"Congressman Luke Messer, Chair of the House Republican Policy Committee, released the following statement on President Obama’s budget request for Fiscal Year 2016:

“It’s hard to take seriously a budget plan that never balances, puts more money in the hands of Washington bureaucrats and adds more than $8 trillion to the national debt,” said Congressman Luke Messer.  “The President’s old-school tax-and-spend plan will not deliver the results the American people need.  It’s time for a new approach.  Let’s balance the budget, rein in wasteful Washington spending and put more money back in the hands of hardworking Americans.”
