House Republican Policy Committee to Hold Hearing on Barriers Women Face in the Workforce

WASHINGTON (Sept. 20, 2016) — Chairman Luke Messer (IN-06) announced today that the Republican Policy Committee (RPC) Working Group on Women in the 21stCentury Workforce will hold its first hearingon Thursday, Sept. 22, at 4p.m.

Chaired by Rep. Martha McSally (AZ-02) who heads the Working Group, the hearing will focus on examining barriers women face in the workforce.

The RPClaunchedthe Working Group on Women in the 21stCentury Workforce in July. It is tasked with identifying solutions to expand opportunity for women in the workforce, increase workplace flexibility, remove barriers facing working women and empower the next generation.
