February 4, 2015

WASHINGTONâ€"Today, Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich addressed the House Republican Policy Committee (RPC).  He spoke about the importance of developing a positive results-focused agenda that moves the country forward.

Speaker Gingrich urged the Committee to “develop a program for an inclusive party, appealing to all Americans” and “develop policies that fit within our vision for America and align with our core principles as a party.”   He also challenged the members to maximize their ability to affect positive change given their roles as policymakers.

Chairman Luke Messer (IN-06) called the Speaker’s comments “inspirational.”

“It was an honor to have Speaker Gingrich at our meeting this morning,” said Chairman Messer. “He’s a man of great vision and an exceptional leader.  I look forward to collaborating with him as we work in this Committee to develop conservative policy solutions for those who, in the Speaker’s words are ‘fed up with the current mess and want a better future for themselves, their children and their country.’”
